Kim Ngaata is a Maori European, she has lived in Rarotonga currently living in Auckland, New Zealand. Her husband John is a Cook Islander. What inspires her, is her Tamariki and her Mokos. She’s always been praying before she starts painting, to help to get the thoughts that are in her head to come out of her fingers. She’s always wanted to paint. Took a couple of free lessons from a parenting group. She was involved when she came back from Rarotonga. She loves changing the mood of a room by changing the artwork. She loves texture in her work.
