Biography

I was raised by my father who is now deceased. His name was LaVern Flood Sr. I grew up in a boarding school. St Joseph Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota. My great grandfather was Thomas Flood who was in the service and was a Lakota interpreter for the service. My other great grandfather was Daniel GrassRope who was part of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. My mother died when I was 5. I have 8 siblings. I myself have 3 children. One girl and 2 boys. I enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in Rosebud South Dakota and reside in Nebraska in the US. I have a lot of beadworks and ribbon skirts.
