Biography

Based in Ngāruawāhia, we are a whānau Māori pakihi (Māori owned business) honoring te ao Māori (Māori worldview) through contemporary mahi toi (arts/craft). Mahi Toi is a creative way to share our stories and honour our culture. Everything we do is strive to ensure our uri (children) are immersed in te ao Māori and all of our taonga (treasures).

Our taonga are designed in our home by self-taught Artist, Brodie/Pāpā, and were originally inspired by our pēpē (baby), Vai, who is fascinated in all things toi (arts/crafts). We want to bring these taonga to every whānau (family).
