Born in 1963 in Bombay, India. I grew up in a conservative family and the bold style. I adopted in my painting was not quite the expectation in my expression.
Since my professional training in painting is relatively limited, my motivation to self–teach coupled with a natural ability to harmonize shades and hues in my paintings has influenced me to experiment with themes such as the ones presented in my works.
I am particularly intrigued with abstract forms and definitive faces of women that surface through those forms. The landscapes that I paint are a window into my vision of nature’s beauty – what I put on the canvas is my perception of our magnificent natural world.
The vibrant colors that I use are a significant part of my artwork. My passion for painting allows me to constantly reinvent myself and change my style, without compromising my vision. I hope to evoke this in my exhibit here.
I hope my paintings are enjoyed by the viewer as much as I enjoyed creating them.
